  • Thanks for Stopping By!

Hi! I am Brandie, the one behind the lens. You can usually find me torturing one of my four kiddos or lost behind my camera lens! I look forward to capturing your journey, and capturing the moment you are in and transforming those moments into memories!

You are my Wild- Week 2

This week’s theme, “you are my wild,” is of my oldest daughter. One thing I absolutely love about my oldest is what an amazing big sister she has grown up to be. She has taken on this role and owns it 🙂
She loves to be a teacher to her younger sibling. She loves to help them, she loves to play with them, she loves to read to them, and overall she just loves them.

This series of pictures I caught her reading to two of her littles and a friends little boy who is like a brother to her. She wrote and illustrated this story and couldn’t wait to share it with them. Once she read it she then was teaching her little brother how to read it and was so proud of him when he would say the correct rhyming word.

Once again, I chose one image for my challenge but also created a little collage of pictures so one day I could share with her the series of images.

Look at Jacks face…. He is loving it and she is obviously very proud!

“You are my Wild” Week 1

This is a personal project that I have joined along with a few other photographers. We were inspired by this site “You are my Wild”  this is also a group of photographers that post one photo a week of their child. How we see our child, and just capturing their every growing moment.

I don’t claim to be good at these weekly projects, in fact I have tried them before and failed. I would love to be able to accomplish this and be able to give my kids a book at the end of the year with photos of them growing together.

So this is my week one. They say to post one photo but that’s even more difficult for me since I am usually taking pictures that tell a story. And today’s story was of my two year old and how danty and perfect she was matching colors with me. But, if I had to choose just one its the first one. She is so excited to be learning her colors and find the ones when I ask for it.

Love this series of pictures you caught her thinking, celebrating and doing! Perfect!!!

Bright Eyed Beauty

I had the opportunity to “meet” this cutie pie when mama was pregnant with her. You can see some of the adorable family here on facebook. Miss “KoKo” made her entrance into the world eight days early and weighing in at eight pounds! Little Miss wanted lots of shots with her big blue eyes, and really fought us on the sleep part. But once we found the trick and got her to rest her little eyes we were also able to get some of those sweet snuggled photographs.
Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend filled with lots of photographs! I have such a great time hanging and photographing your adorable little girls! Thank you!!

4 month Grins and Giggles

Do you remember this little guy from his amazing newborn session four months ago? If you haven’t seen his newborn session make sure to go back to see how much a little one changes in such a short amount of time.
I had one of the best ever photo sessions with him last week. This little guy just stole my heart. He came in with stories to tell, laughs to share, and smiles to give. I enjoyed filming all his different looks that he had, and so enjoyed  watching him explore the world with his amazing little eyes.
Here is a little sneak peek of his amazing little smiles that he delivered!

Love these. His expressions are awesome!

Miss Taylor

I feel so blessed when an adorable little family walks into my home, trusting me with their little bundle. This family was awesome and I felt so comfortable the entire session just “oohing” and “awwing” over their sweet daughter.
Little miss was an awesome little model! I fully enjoyed cuddling her and getting some great shots along with sitting and chatting with her parents. I really felt when they left that I made new friends 🙂
Thank you Matt and Jenn for spending your entire Sunday morning with me!

Here is a little sneak peek!
